Give your fishing boat the high-power fish-finding system upgrade it deserves. Fish finder electronics have been on the market for decades, but modern fishing systems take the guesswork out of the equation. While you can never guarantee that the fish you find will bite, you can find your target species much easier with a modern system. And Chart House pairs your multi-function display system with appropriate sounders and transducers to deliver the best performance.

Omnidirectional Sonar

Simrad SY50

The Simrad SY50 is a compact, omnidirectional medium-frequency sonar built for coastal fisheries. Engineered specifically for smaller fishing vessels, it delivers advanced fish-finding technology once limited to larger sonars and high-end acoustic systems. Chart House Marine Electronics & Outfitting provides professional installation and integration of the SY50, ensuring your vessel is equipped with the latest in sonar performance and reliability.

Advanced Sonar Capabilities
The Simrad SY50 is built with 256 independent transmitter and receiver channels, delivering exceptionally clear, high-resolution sonar imagery unmatched in its class. Key features include full beam stabilization, vertical viewing modes, FM transmission, and single-ping coverage that captures both horizontal and vertical data simultaneously. Powered by the trusted Winson software—available in nearly 20 languages—the SY50 combines advanced performance with an intuitive, user-friendly interface.

Efficient and Customizable Operation
A cylindrical multi-element transducer enables omnidirectional sonar beams that can be electronically tilted from +10° to -60° in precise 1° increments, allowing automatic tracking of fish schools. Built-in stabilization provides pitch and roll compensation, with optional external sensor connectivity for even greater accuracy. Operators can define and save custom settings for streamlined use, while an optional compact control panel offers simplified operation via a single USB connection.

QuadPing™
QuadPing™ is a breakthrough sonar feature for both commercial and sportfishing. Now available as a free upgrade, it introduces advanced four-ping technology that gives your vessel an edge in finding and tracking fish.

With QuadPing™, your sonar sends out four transmissions at once, displayed in dual split-screen mode. The first ping appears in the left view, providing a reference for detection. The right view shows the three additional pings—each tilted 10 degrees apart—working together to map and track fish as they move toward your boat. Full omni-stabilization of both transmission and reception beams ensures precise, reliable performance.

This technology delivers clearer, more complete situational awareness and is especially valuable for purse seiners and serious sportfishing operations.
